UPDATE: Oh.My.Gosh. Those suckers were actually really good. The pan is practically empty. The consistency was a little spongy/not as fudgy, but you couldn't taste the veggies one bit! I really am not sure I'll ever make brownies any other way.

Deceptively Delicious?
They definitely look and smell deceptive, but will they be delicious? We'll let you know in a bit. The cookbook suggests you let the brownies completely cool so you can't taste the spinach and carrot purees hidden in them!! The wait is driving Daddy crazy. Me too, I can smell them from my bedroom! How is a girl supposed to sleep?
