Happy 2nd Birthday, Noah!

UPDATE: My sister took a couple pictures to prove that Chase was, in fact, at Noah's birthday party. I am so happy she got these!

Josh's mom holding him right after I woke him up from his nap.

Josh's sister, Heather, feeding him. His outfit is a 3-6 month from Janie and Jack (I've always found them to run on the bigger side). I just can't believe Chase is getting so big. I am not ready for him to grow up!

ORIGINAL POST:
Our sweet nephew/cousin turned 2 yesterday! We had a great time at his choo-choo train themed party. Addison spent the weekend in Cleveland (and loved every second of it). Chase, Dustin and I headed up just for the day. Chase slept during the entire party, except the last few minutes when I woke him to eat. He doesn't like to be woken up. I wonder who he gets that from? (hint, hint: me). :)

Gammy, Addie and Noah

My sister made Noah's cake. Good job, sis! Oh, and you too, Terri Crocker!

Eating cupcakes.

After eating 3/4 of her yellow one, Addison decided she wanted a white one like Noah.

Helping Noah open his gifts.

Besides his new swing set outside, this was his coolest gift from his Aunt Heather. He squealed when he saw it. Noah didn't know how to make it go (not that we wanted it to go in the kitchen!)This was right before Addison jumped over Taylor and sat on Noah's lap and pushed the gas. You could just see her little wheels turning as she was calculating her plan to get this car moving! Hilarious!

These two really make life worth living

Chill

This kid is pretty chill
And this one....

Well, she's not quite as chill (she is a 2 year old, after all) but she's THE BEST big sister!
(Disclaimer: I always have Chase strapped in his swing. I was just about to get him out when he starting giving me cute, smiley faces so I reached for my camera to snap a couple pictures. This is when Addison said "Take picture of me, momma" and this photo shoot ensued. Anyway, just didn't want anyone calling CPS on me!)

Have I ever posted this picture?

This is from mid-March. Doesn't he look like a little Russian baby doll?

Tummy Time

Addison's usually a big help when it comes to tummy time. She will sit on the floor and make her best attempt at engaging Chase. It usually works well, though sometimes Chase is lazy and won't look her way.

Addison does tummy time with her baby, too.

Egg coloring The Little Mermaid

This post got lost in my drafts...woops. Better late than never.

The weekend before Easter, Addison and her cousin, Aaron, had a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's house. While they were there, they colored Easter eggs, saw a live production of "The Little Mermaid" and played outside".

Chase's Baptism

Easter was especially special this year. We had Chase baptised that afternoon. Both of our families attended mass together and Chase was baptised afterwards. We chose my sister, Lori, and our brother-in-law, Josh, as Chase's Godparents. They are already positive influences in our children's lives and we know they will continue to be so for our son.

The ceremony began in the annex as we welcomed Chase (and 2 other babies) into the church.

Our little Catholic Boy. :)

The children were invited to help bless the baptismal water. Addison wasn't sure she was allowed to be doing this!

Pouring Baptismal water on his head.

Wearing the cloth that the parish made for him.
