Animal sounds

One of my latest tricks is reciting animal sounds. I can tell you what a dog, lamb, and cow says, as well as a monster. Scary, I know! Mommy makes me do it every time we see someone so I am getting really good at it. I'm sure all those "someones" who have heard it a million times would love to hear it again. So, here is some video of me from a couple weeks ago. I don't perform as well in front of the camera, but we'll try to get a better version soon!

Congratulations, Mommy!!

My mommy is a fighter. She proved this to everyone on December 23rd, 2008 at 11:00am when she finished the last drop of her cancer treatment. I could go on and on about how wonderful my Mommy is, but we all know that Mommy is writing this and that would be really weird, right?!? Even though there is nothing wrong with being proud of oneself. :)

Look, Mommy's so happy to be done!
She can hardly believe it.

After treatment, Aunt Emily and Aunt Julie took Mommy shopping to keep her out of the house while, with a lot of help from me (Miss Party Girl) and some other big helpers, Daddy set up for Mommy's surprise party! Mommy couldn't believe that so many people came out on an icy Tuesday afternoon/evening 2 nights before Christmas to celebrate this momentous occasion! Mommy was very surprised and if you know my Mommy, you know that this is nearly impossible to do!
We had the entire house decorated in pink. Pink roses, pink daisies, pink poinsettias, pink Christmas ornaments, pink boas and feathers and butterflies. Pink tablecloths, pink silverware and napkins. Pink cookies. Pink everywhere! It was so pretty!

We didn't get Mommy's face on camera when she walked in the door, but this is pretty much what it looked like.
Or maybe something like this
We really didn't get many pictures of the evening, but fortunately we were able to get a few towards the end of the night. (Read: Please excuse Mommy's paleness and poofy hair!)

Of course I invited some of my friends, too. Here I am playing with my good friend, Ariana.

The party was a hit and Mommy ranks it as one of her top 5 nights ever. Thanks to everyone who helped pull this off and celebrate with my Mommy!

Giving Aunt Emily her Christmas present

Aunt Emily came to visit us at Christmas and I gave her a present. Mommy took these pictures of me giving them to her because I had just woken up from a nap and she wanted to document my typical after-nap hair. Call her biased, but she thinks it's precious. :)

New outfit

I wonder who got me this cute little outfit that just fits SOOOO perfectly. Thanks AMC, I love it!

Welcome to the world, Mackenzye!

This is a little late, but I have a new friend in the neighborhood and was finally able to meet her. I can't wait until she is old enough to play with me!

Welcome to the world, my new little friend. Tell your Mommy and Daddy that I am getting really good with my baby if they ever want me to come over to babysit you. :)

What I do all day

Well, not really all day, but here is an example of how I spend some of my play time.
Playing with my busy ball popper that baby Mackenzye gave me for my birthday Reading
Pushing my baby around
Making bottles for my baby in my kitchen
And then feeding them to her
And when I get tired of wearing my bows, we make Bubba wear them. :)

Loving on my teddy

I am getting really good at kisses

and hugs
and just good old fashioned snuggling.

My baby is wearing my hat

Here are a couple pictures of me taking care of my baby. I love feeding her. Well, first I tried feeding her the candy cane, but she didn't want it. Sometimes I pretend to drink out of her bottle just to remind Mommy that I'm still a baby, too!

The hat that my baby is wearing is the same one I wore on the eve of coming home from the hospital (also known as Christmas Eve). It's hard to believe I was ever that small. Ooooh, maybe tomorrow we'll put some of my preemie clothes on the baby and see how those fit!

Best.Gift.Ever

P.S. Please ignore the Kix resting on my shoulder. Or sticking to my cheek. One of those. I'm saving it for later.

Wilson Christmas

On Saturday, we traveled to Southwest Ohio for the first of many family Christmas parties we will be attending this year. I got to see my Great Grandma and Grandpa Wilson and lots of my Great Aunts and Uncles and cousins. It was so much fun, I already can't wait until next Christmas!

Saying "hi" to my cousin, Aaron. He had just woken up from a nap in the car.

Giving Aaron kisses.

Rolling the ball with Aunt Dee.
Playing with my new toy from Aunt Dee, Uncle Jim and cousins Nathan and Nicole.
Aaron and I really liked our new toys! We were having a lot of fun playing with them.
I couldn't stop giggling!
Opening a gift from Uncle Dave and Aunt Rita. Daddy thought it was funny to put the string on my head.
Playing with a toy that my cousins, Danielle, Eric and Ashton gave me. Me, Mommy, and Daddy.
Opening a gift from Uncle Dan and Aunt Nancy (once we got back home).
P.S. Did anyone notice that someone got their first haircut???? Not me, silly goosies. My mommy!!! Okay, so it's not really her first haircut ever, but it's her first haircut in almost 2 years!!
