This week in the Green Room

Hello Parents,
I hope everyone is looking forward to a great Thanksgiving. I am sorry for the delay in emailing you about what we did in the greenroom last week. I got busy getting things ready for the holiday.
We had another great week. On Tuesday we read 10 Fat Turkeys and Falling Leaves and we made owls and started crows which were made by tracing their hands and foot. The kids all thought that was very fun. On Thursday we read One Little, Two Little, Three Little Indians and talked about the first Thanksgiving. We finished our crows, made tee pees and made a turkey out of triangles and added feathers. We also did "dots on D's" to celebrate D as the letter of the week.
Each week the kids are learning more and more. They are such impressive little people. Enjoy your holiday and we will have "E" as the letter of the week when we are back in school on November 30th.
Together we teach,
Michelle Ramsey and Sara Reed
