My Valentine's Weekend

I had a very fun Valentine's weekend with some special visitors. My Aunt Julie, Uncle Josh, and cousin Noah (and Bubba's cousin, Bailey) and my Gammy all came to spend the weekend with us!

I bet you can't guess what the theme of the weekend was. I'll give you a hint....

It involved some of this cuteness....

...and this sweet thing.
Good guess, but it had nothing to do with our Mommy's posing us in front of the big teddy bear...

...or me refusing to take off the hat that just a month ago I refused to wear!
And although it was fun, the weekend did not completely revolve around me sitting on and trying to smoosh my little cousin.

I promise only a small portion of the weekend was spent with me and Noah opening the gigantic Valentine's Day card from Gammy and Poppy....

...and playing a game of twister with it.
I bet you thought we spent all weekend putting my bows on Bailey, didn't you? Nope, sorry...wrong guess again!
Okay, I'll make it easier on you. Maybe these pictures will help you figure out the theme from our Valentine's weekend.

I bet you all will get a point this time! Any of the following answers will be considered correct:
1) Noah tugging at Addison
2) Noah pulling off Addison's clothes
3) Noah biting Addison (nice bites, of course)
4) Noah wrestling Addison to the ground
5) Noah pulling Addison's hair
6) Noah pinching Addison
7) Noah loving on Addison
8) Noah's fingers are like a crab's claws :)
Yup, that's pretty much what my weekend consisted of. It was exhausting...but so much fun! And I can't lie....flattering, too. :)
Bye-bye, cousin Noah. I love you and will see you again in less than 2 weeks! Smooooooch!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day filled with lots of love!

Bubba says "Woof, woof, woof" (which means Happy Valentine's Day), too!

Me and my cousin, Aaron

My cousin, Aaron, came over today to wish me a Happy Valentine's Day and surprised me with a stuffed animal. Thanks, Aaron! I had a lot of fun playing with you and hope we can play again soon!

"Addison, will you be my Valentine?"
Cute cousins
Big hugs!

Curls

Everyone has been hoping that I inherit some of Mommy's curls (rather than daddy's razor straight hair). It looks like it might happen. Yeaaaah!

Playing with Bubba

Just some fun pictures of me playing with my best pal, Wrigley....

And this one 'cause Mommy thinks it's sweet...

Spinning in Daddy's office chair

What does one do on a windy, rainy day in Ohio? Take a spin in Daddy's office chair, of course!

Bubba, are you having as much fun as I am?

Purple lip

Guess what happened to me yesterday?
I tripped and fell, biting my lip on the way down. It bled really bad and now it looks like this.
Mommy gets so sad when I get boo-boo's. It would have gone great with the black eye I had back in November, don't you think?

SAY CHEEEEESE!

I might just be the world's biggest ham. Tender, juicy and honey-glazed to perfection, of course!

Bows and Molars

I have a slight obsession with my bows and hairbands. As soon as Mommy gets me up in the mornings, I point to my closet and say "bow". This morning Mommy let me pick out which one I wanted to wear. This is it. My Aunt Kye Kye gave it to me! It only stayed on for a few minutes, but it was fun while it lasted.

So, I'm teething my molars (and a third front bottom tooth). None of my other teeth bothered me coming in, but these molars are KILLERS! (At least this is what Mommy thinks is causing my whining, neediness and early waking from naps. Oh dear!) Because Mommy feels so sorry for me, she's been spoiling me lately, giving me whatever I want (almost). This morning, I wanted some of her chocolate chips. She can't resist when I sign and say "more" (or "mo" in Addisonese), so she just kept giving them to me. Thanks, Mommy!

More, Mommy?
What molars? Can't feel a thing...I'm on a sugar high!

Dancing

Just providing a little entertainment while dancing to my personalized Disney Princess CD that my friend Amara and her parents got me!

Water

At the end of this video, I sign "water"...and also say it - "wa-wa". Sure, I know it looks like I'm performing a Native American ritual, but in our house it means I'm thirsty for some water!

Notice how I almost succeed in throwing the cup on the floor. I'm famous for doing that these days!

Signing "Bath"

To correctly sign "bath", you use both hands, but I got lazy and only used one hand this time.

Kisses and turns

Handing out kisses and showing off my stellar turning capabilities!

Meal time stuff

Signing/saying "more" at meal time.

Apparently choking is a laughing matter. :)

Saying Baby

Meeting Baby Avery

I am such a lucky girl. I had the chance to meet Baby Avery before she was even two weeks old! We were in Dayton for the weekend and just had to squeeze in a visit to meet the little angel. And what an angel she is! She was so good the entire time we were there. She slept in Mommy's arms during most of our visit and Mommy was loving it! She opened her eyes for us just as we were leaving. What a beautiful little girl she is. Thank you, Katie and Brian, for allowing us to meet your sweetie. She is beautiful and we can't wait to watch her grow up!
Oh, so this is kind of what it would like like if we were a family of 4...I mean 5 (sorry, Bubba).
The mommies and their babies...except my mommy is hogging all the babies!
The new, beautiful, happy family.
These pictures aren't from our visit. But, you can't really see much of Avery in our pictures, so we borrowed these from Avery's blog. Isn't she gorgeous?!?!?

Okay, so we all know that Bubba is usually with us on our trips. We were planning on leaving him in the car, but Brian and Katie were so nice to invite him to play with their dogs in their gigantic back yard. Boston and Bailey are much bigger than my Bubba, but that didn't bother Bubba. He had so much fun playing with them!

Boston was much more interested in Bubba, but you can see Bailey in the background.

Bubba and Boston. Bubba running from Boston. Awww. :)
