Community Service Event

We went to an assisted living home for our most recent MOM's club community service event.  The kids danced and sang for the residents. In the past, Addie has kept her distance from those in wheelchairs and beds, but this time was much different.  She walked right up to everyone to say hi and hand them the green carnations we brought them for St. Patrick's Day.  Chase was in true form and stuck to me like glue. :)

Addison loves, absolutely LOVES an audience. These days, there is no better person to perform to than Chase. He thinks the world of her. THE WORLD. He is attentive. He stays in one place. He laughs at her. You couldn't ask for a better audience.

Pay attention to the end of the second video. The instant it appears that Chase's attention has been diverted, Addison takes control!

As I was going through our video that I took of Chase's homecoming, I came across this little gem. Apparently Dustin took it while I was on bed rest.

Jingle Bells

I mentioned earlier that Addison had practically mastered the song "Jingle Bells". Here is her rendition on Christmas morning. She sang to many audiences over the holiday weekend and it continues to be her favorite song to perform.

Remember the ABC song performance I keep promising? Well, this is about the best I've been able to get, from this morning when I was getting ready and Addison was entertaining me, as usual.

She usually doesn't get tripped up on the LMNOP so much. I think she was just being a goofball.

I know she's my kid and all mom's say this, but she is sooooo darn cute!!!!
