Dustin and I went to the hospital today to meet our newest nephew, Logan, when he was just a few hours old. He is a spitting image of his older brother and is sweet as can be. I had the pleasure of burping him after a feeding. He was curled up into a little ball and was so cuddly and soft.
I was wondering if anyone would notice if I just tucked him under my sweater and brought him home with me. Then I remembered the crazy security they put on newborns these days and I really didn't feel like spending the night in jail. So, I held him as much as I could (and shared with Dustin a little) before I had to leave.
I would have stayed all day but they just put a visiting restriction on children at the hospital at 11am today. Because Addison wasn't allowed inside, my Mother-in-law hung out with her outside (or really, in our car since we're having late November weather these days - ugh) while we visited. Fortunately big brother, Aaron, made it just in time to spend an hour with his brother....before they kicked him out. MEANIES! Flu season is no fun!
And here are some pictures of the little peanut. Logan Daniel born at 7:57am with a weight of 8 pounds 4 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Mom and baby are both doing great and looking good!
